Color of Your Belt MUST ALWAYS Match Your Shoes

Being a fashion conscious person or not, there is a formal dress rule that most men overlooked. In fact, this is one of the most important thing to know about dressing to be in fashion (or not) is that the color of the belt you wear should ALWAYS match the color of your shoes!

This is basic fashion knowledge for both genders. Like it or not, but truth is I simply can’t stand it when I see people ignoring this little detail. It's really disappointing to see a guy wearing a nice tailored shirt, pants and a trendy pair of brown dress shoes with black belt!?!? I’m not a fashion police, but this mismatch is really unacceptable!

And this is not just a caprice of mine. It really is a basic requirement of having a presentable look, in order to show a little sophistication on your part.

Generally, women are more aware of the importance of this requirement; although they may choose not to follow it as they dress more varied as compared to men. Sadly, majority of men are totally oblivious to this rule, as to the whole fashion thing.

To this point, if you can identify yourself with what I've talked about here (promise I won’t say a word), please do take the time and adjust this little flaw.

This isn’t really like a make or break rule. But it's just a small detail that may or may not go unnoticed. As a whole, when put together with other such small details, it does make you have the best appearance, which in turns helps you feel comfortable and confident.

In a business meeting or even at a bar when hitting the opposite sex, having this ‘belt and shoes’ right will certainly work in your favor. But if the opposite, chances of you leaving a poor impression or even being ignored are there.

You'd better not wear a belt at all than one that does not match with your shoes. Some might go too far and wear a belt made of the same material as the shoes, but it’s really not necessary as matching only the color is fine.

Now that you are aware of this, you have no more excuses for not doing it. Fix it as fast as possible.
